Lauren Lake is a multi-faceted Emmy Award-winning television personality who serves as Executive Producer and judge of the nationally syndicated half-hour daily courtroom shows, Lauren Lake’s Paternity Court and We The People with Judge Lauren Lake . Sharp-witted and opinionated, Lake helps litigants resolve legal issues with the perfect blend of inspiration and tough love. Known for being both feisty and fair, she educates, empowers and entertains audiences with her no-nonsense, tell-it-like-it-is advice and analysis of each case. Lauren is passionate about helping people settle disputes, repair broken relationships, and face difficult truths.

Lake built a prominent law career as a member of the New York, New Jersey and Michigan bars with concentrations in family, criminal, and entertainment law. Lake has been a featured expert on The View, Good Morning America, Today, CBS This Morning, Dr. Phil, Maury, Steve Harvey, Access Hollywood, WE tv, HGTV, BET, The Real, and The Wendy Williams Show. She has served as a guest anchor on MSNBC and Court TV. Lake is a regular on-air radio co-host for Jeff Lewis Live on Sirius XM and her professional accomplishments have been chronicled in Forbes, Variety, New York Post, Ebony Magazine, Atlanta Journal-Constitution and the Detroit News.

A highly sought after speaker and lecturer, Lake provides keynote addresses for countless social, civic, business, legal, and student organizations. Her inspiring message on Limitless Living, has ignited students at universities across the country such as, Princeton, the University of Michigan, Michigan State University College of Law, Florida A&M University, Xavier University, and University of Alabama Birmingham. Her success led her to produce the Limitless Living Conference which helps people live a life without limits. She doesn’t just talk the talk about living a limitless life, Lauren walks the walk. She has traveled the world as a professional background singer for platinum selling artists like P. Diddy, Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, and JT Taylor, and she showcased her interior design skills on her very own HGTV show, Spice Up My Kitchen. Her proven business acumen landed her the role as judge on BET’s competition show Queen Boss.

In her book, Girl! Let Me Tell You… Lake helps single women navigate dating and relationships by never settling for anything less than what they deserve in life and in love. Lake has served as moderator and contributor on panels dedicated to women, relationships, empowerment, parenting and family at the Radio One Women’s Empowerment Expo, Circle of Sisters Expo, the Essence Young Women’s Leadership Conference, and the Tom Joyner Family Reunion.

Lake co-founded the Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network, dedicated to uplifting and empowering young women interested in careers in music, TV and film. Lake is a savvy mompreneur who strives each day to be a living example of life’s limitless possibilities. She resides in Los Angeles with her son, CJ.
