When I first moved to California to launch season 1 of Paternity Court, CJ was just 2 and I was still carrying 30 lbs of unwanted baby weight. Carlos and I started hiking Runyon Canyon as cardio to help me maximize my calorie burn. The views were beautiful, but to be honest, most days I was just focused on getting through. Now, seven years later, I’ve actually started to love it. I’ve taken the pressure off and learned to just enjoy the climb. I love to take in the plethora of scenic views, commune with nature and experience an abundance of peace, tranquility, and relaxation. When my thoughts are clouded and there’s a lot of chaos, the trial of getting to the top of the mountain eases the stress and allows me to decompress.
